Natalie Biggins from the UK was shocked and amused to see an unexpected guest on her big day. As she stood at the altar with her man, a macaque rhesus monkey named Rosie appeared bearing the wedding rings and made straight for the best man, Chris Kean to hand over her precious gift. The idea was the brainchild of groom, 30-year-old Jamie Richardson - also from the UK - who spent £2000 on the surprise, he said the cost was worth it just to see the look on the face of his beloved. On August 1st, LIB reported (read here) and shared photos from the white wedding of a Nigerian Gay man David Ukre, from Warri, Delta state, who got married to his white partner Eric T. Shoen in New York, on Saturday July 30th. The post on LIB was to celebrate their love and freedom in the US. However, slight controversy arose when some trolls attacked the newly married couple on their social media accounts.

Former President Jonathan met with Zambia's only female presidential candidate, Edith Nawakwi of Forum for Democracy and Development party yesterday August 10th. Jonathan, who is in Zambia as head of African Union's head of election observer team, said he was excited that a woman was running for presidency.
