President Buhari condoles Ghanaian president on loss of mother

President Buhari has spoken to President John Mahama of Ghana to offer heartfelt condolences to his family on the passing away of his mother, Hajia Abiba Nnaba. In a telephone call on Wednesday, President Buhari prayed that Almighty Allah will grant the soul of Hajia Nnaba eternal rest and comfort all who mourn her.
President Buhari told the Ghanaian leader that his personal thoughts and prayers as well as those of Nigerians are with him as he mourns the passage of a beloved mother. The President further prayed that the loving memory and virtues which Hajia Abiba Nnaba lived for will continue to inspire all who knew her and generations to come.

  Spokesperson to the Osun State Governor , Mallam Olawale Rasheed has confirmed reported aircraft incident involving Governor Ademola Adeleke but clarified that there are strong indications that the two aircraft  engines were tampered before boarding. Reacting to news reports on the incident, the Spokesperson said the highly technically equipped aircraft was well maintained with the best technical crew and was never an unused platform where  birds could build nests. Contrary to the claim by the hanger owner that  birds' nests caused the incident, birds' nests are made with straws not bidding wires as in this case.  According to him, the near fatal incident was averted shortly after boarding and less than two minutes after commencement of taxing on the tarmac.  An early warning noise from the engines immediately prompted the pilots to direct evacuation of the passengers.
