NANS disowns Jimoh Ibrahim Award, calls for arrest of imposters

The attention of the Office of the Senate President, National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), has been drawn to a purported "NANS Leadership Award" bestowed on one Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim of the PDP by an imposter, an impersonator and a fraudster - Oyejide Salam - using the Office of the Senate President, NANS.

I, Comrade Bamigbade Taiwo "Egalitarian", the one and only authentic NANS Senate President (2016/2017), is stating emphatically that my good office, at no point in time in the past, in the present or in the future, did NOT confer on Jimoh Ibrahim any 'NANS Leadership Award'.

At this critical juncture in the annals of exploitative policies against the Nigerian students, my good office is working assiduously in finding a workable solution to all and any form of policies aimed at stagnating the progressive wellbeing of all Nigerian students. At present, we are resolutely committed to finding an end to the crisis rocking various tertiary institutions in Nigeria, challenging the hierarchy of the ITF for the continued non payment of SIWES Allowance, among other progressive agitation.

I am using this medium to call on all security agencies to arrest and prosecute all impostors and impersonators using the lofty name, brand and image of NANS to swindle unsuspecting politicians, philanthropists, corporate organisations among others.

The general public should make verifiable enquiries from the NANS Secretariat to avoid falling victim of these scammers, fraudsters and enemies of Nigerian Students' Movement whose only preoccupation is to dole out series of 'Black Market Award' for pecuniary monetary gains.

SIGNED:
Comrade Bamigbade Taiwo "Egalitarian"
Senate President, NANS
2016/2017
