ILESA WEST CHRONICLE; HON OLAWALE AKERELE DISBURSES FIRST TREND OF STUDENTS' GRANT


 

Honourable representing Ilesa West State Constituency, Hon Olawale Akerele (Water) in his bid to reduce students dropout and ease educational activities of the constituents gave out thousands of cash as help to over 50 underprivileged students of Junior Secondary Schools who are unable to pay for their Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in Ilesa West Local Government.


The first trend of the special intervention which was targeted at eradicating illiteracy and wipe off dropout students within the constituents was lauded by parents and teachers within Ilesa West Local Government.


While addressing the participants, Hon Olawale Akerele reiterated his frank commitment to better the lives of the constituents through this special intervention on needs that will improve the standard of living of the people. "This is just the tip of an icebergs, through my oversight function, I will ensure prompt intervention on issues that will make life comfortable for our citizens". The Chief Whip of Osun State House of Assembly posited. He further ensured the Ilesa West subjects and the entire Osun peoples of His Excellency, Governor Ademola Adeleke's commitment to take Osun State Education ranking from backward to the first position in the soonest future. 


Whilst commending the Lawmaker, the PA to Osun State SUBEB chairman, Comr. Karma Aleshinloye noted that education is the bedrock of any society, if this nation must develop; leader must stop toiling with finding of Education.  My principal is also a students friendly, he has mapped out strategies to improve the standard of Basic Education in our dear State which sooner, Osun Basic Education will wear a new look. Aleshinloye noted. 


Commenting to the humanitarian gesture of the Lawmaker representing good people of Ilesa West, the Nigerians Union of Teachers NUT Chairman, Pastor Ajewole applauded Hon Olawale Akerele for bringing the dividends of democracy to the needy within the short time of his representation. This is honestly uncommon, atleast we don't have election anytime soon, we appreciate your truism and sincerity of purpose and we pray the Lord will continue to abide with you now and onward.
