ISA ATIKU IS AN IMPOSTOR!!! A RECKLESS AFFRONT ON THE UNITY OF NANS

 By Comrade Ajibade Kehinde Daniel,

It is with utmost disappointment and patriotic concern that I condemn, in the strongest of terms, the divisive and self-serving actions of one Isa Atiku, who has shamelessly attempted to factionalize the revered National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) by parading himself falsely as a representative of Nigerian students.

Let it be stated unequivocally that Isa Atiku is alien to the students' movement. He holds no legitimacy within our noble association and his reckless antics represent a direct assault on the unity, sanctity, and institutional memory of NANS. His so called "leadership" is nothing but a facade driven by a selfish political will to cash out from desperate politicians looking for rented crowds and fictitious endorsements.

We strongly warn that any government institution, political figure, or corporate body that patronizes Isa Atiku does so at their own peril. Such associations are invalid, illegitimate, and categorically rejected by the genuine leadership of Nigerian students across the federation.

NANS held a widely-acknowledged and transparent Unity Convention where Comrade Olusola Ladoja emerged as the duly elected President. A true comrade and bridge-builder, Ladoja traversed the length and breadth of this country, resonating his vision with the electorates and leaving no stone unturned in uniting the soul of the Nigerian students’ movement. His mandate is authentic, uncontested, and sacred.

The era of using the students' platform for personal political brokerage is over. Isa Atiku’s actions are not only contemptible but also a sad reminder of how some unscrupulous individuals seek to exploit patriotic structures for selfish ends. We shall not allow the labor and sweat of committed comrades, past and present, to be dragged in the mud by impostors and opportunists.

NANS remains one, indivisible, and rooted in democratic ideals. We call on security agencies and all stakeholders to take note and act accordingly to safeguard the integrity of the Nigerian students’ movement.

Long live Nigerian students!
Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!
