WOLE OKE WON 3, NOT 4 ELECTIONS AS OPPOSITION - POCO SAYS HIS 24-YEAR DECEPTION ENDS IN 2027
The Pelumi Olajengbesi Campaign Organization has read the false and bloated claim credited to Hon. Wole Oke that he has won four elections as an opposition candidate in Obokun/Oriade.
We understand, Hon. Wole Oke is tense. He has been overwhelmed by the outright rejection he now suffers from his own allies and kinsmen and has resorted to lies to disguise his collapsing political strength.
But we can not allow our people to be fed with lies.
Hon. Wole Oke has contested six times — 2003, 2007, 2011, 2015, 2019, and 2023. He lost in 2011.
The times his party was not in power at the state level were 2003, 2011, 2015, and 2019. He lost in 2011 and won in 2003, 2015, and 2019. That is THREE wins, not FOUR.
In 2023, he contested under the PDP when Governor Ademola Adeleke was already in power. So where did he manufacture the fourth opposition win? Which polling unit? Which election?
This is not an error. It is a sign of a man overwhelmed by imminent defeat.
Hon. Wole Oke can not rewrite history to make himself look bigger than he is. He is not a veteran of opposition struggles. He is a mere beneficiary of anti-party activities. In 2025, he boasted that he is known for removing sitting governors, yet in the last governorship election, he lost Oriade Local Government by 6,500 votes and lost the entire federal constituency by 2,500 votes.
For 24 years, he has held this constituency to ransom. In 2017, he listed 44 people who helped him and vowed to vacate the seat for one of them in 2019. In 2026, he is still contesting, now as a loner rejected by his kinsmen and allies.
Hon. Wole Oke, the game is over. The whistle has been blown. Your deception ends in 2027. You should be apologizing to Ijesa North for turning this constituency into your personal estate.
Start preparing your handover note. Whatever you forget in Abuja, Pelumi Olajengbesi, the Accord Party candidate for Obokun/Oriade, will send it to you by dispatch.
Signed:
Sodiq Lawal Chocomilo
