The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, during a courtesy visit to the Gbong Gwom Jos, His Royal Majesty, Da Jacob Buba, in his palace in Jishe yesterday, said that the Nigerian Army had defeated Boko Haram terrorist group and have also stopped it from re-grouping anywhere else in the country. The Lagos State Police Command has alerted residents of the state on the new tricks employed by armed robbers to carry out their attacks, particularly at night. The Npf Lagos State Command has arrested four men in connection with the kidnap of a Chinese man, Mr Kumming on Sunday 29th May. The Command upon receipt of the report swung into action, using intelligence based strategy and by Wednesday 1st of June, the victim was rescued while the hoodlums were arrested.
