Akogun Kamorudeen Lere Oyewumi Storms Fourty-One Days Fidau Prayer for Late Sen. Isiaka Adeleke
'‘Our Lord ! Forgive us and our brethren who came before us in faith.'’Q 59:10. Akogun lere Oyewumi and PDP chieftains converged at Ikire Central Mosque, Ikire for the fourty-one day Fidau prayers for the late Alhaji Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke. The prayers held witnessed a large turnout of People Democratic Party members across Irewole local government chapter who were gorgeously dressed in an attire branded with the Sen. Adeleke's picture. The fourty-one day Fidau prayer is for the repose of the soul of the deceased. Some of the eminent citizens and politicians who graced the prayer organised by the Adeleke family included; PDP chairman, Alh. Ogundele Bashir, Former Chief of Staff, Chief Festus Adeyemo,Hon. Jide Jooda, Alh. Kola Akinpelu, Hon. Wale Olunolye, among others.
Akogun Lere Oyewumi, In his Goodwill speech described the late Sen. Isiaka Adeleke, as a thorough bred politician, whose footprints would ever remain indelible in the sands of time. He urges and admonished influential citizens and political leader to try and embrace good deeds by touching many lives like the departed Senator Isiaka Adeleke, saying, the late Isiaka Adeleke is a man who will be remembered for his sterling qualities of uprightness and selflessness. May Allah forgive him, Sen. Isiaka Adeleke his sins and count him among the ones to spend time with our Prohet Mohammed (SAW) in the garden of Aljannat Firdaus {Amen}, Akogun Lere Oyewumi prayed.
