BARRISTER KANMI AJIBOLA: AN ENIGMATIC LAWYER AND ALTRUISTIC POLITICIAN.


 Barrister Kanmi Ajibola's name rings a bell in Osun State and beyond. He is well known for being the bastion of defense for the defenseless and oppressed. 


Barr Kanmi Ajibola was able to sensitize the people of Osun State on how the then APC-led government in the state governed completely with deceit and lies. For example, he questioned the purchase, lease, and disappearance of the Osun State security surveillance chopper helicopter, which today, is no what to be found. 


For the interest of the people of Osun State, Barr Kanmi Ajibola had dragged Aregbesola and members of the state house of assembly to court challenging the legality of the “State of Osun Land use charge Law” passed by the lawmakers and signed into law by the governor, saying the law and its makers were unknown to the 1999 constitution.


Justice Yinka Afolabi of the State High Court, Ilesa judicial division in his judgment nullified the tax law and declared the change of the name of Osun state to “State of Osun” as illegal, null, and void.


Barr Kanmi Ajibola has always known for his love for his people even when it comes to fighting for it with the last drop of his blood. What an outstanding choice for the people! 


As a professional lawyer and true son of the land, whose love for good governance knows no bounds, he firmly stood against the perceived injustice done to his people, the people of Osun State, by the Aregbesola's administration. Owing to his immeasurable love for his people, he was a thorn in the flesh of Aregbesola's government, just to make sure that the dividends of democracy are at the doorsteps of his people.


These among others are his numerous achievements before now for the betterment of Osun State. 


Convinced beyond reasonable doubt that his love for his people has been the driving force for his political ambition. As a true altruist and a man from the grassroots, he surely knows where the shoes pinch. Barr. Kanmi Ajibola has made his mark in the community of the silks. His wealth of knowledge and experience is an advantage for good representation. He is a worthy ambassador.
