Senator Lere Oyewumi Hails Governor Adeleke's Performance, Says He's Trustworthy


 

The Senate Deputy Minority Leader, Senator Lere Oyewumi commended the performing Governor, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke on the great transformation currently being witnessed in the State which clearly shows that he's not an accidental Governor but very prepared for the task of governance. Speaking at the Peoples Democratic Party stakeholders meeting in Osogbo, he noted that the Governor within the short period of his administration has hit the ground running through his numerous achievement.


Akogun Lere Oyewumi expressed joy over the sterling roles played by Governor Ademola Adeleke administration in putting Osun State on the world map through massive building of infrastructure, revamping the moribund health sector, refocusing the education sector to meet the needs of the 21st Century, prioritization of workers’ welfare, rejigging the state security apparatus, and many other developmental strides which have made Osun to be the fastest growing state in the federation under the present dispensation 


Sen. Oyewumi therefore appealed to the people to continue to support the Governor to enable him perform more and succeed, saying he's trustworthy. The lawmaker assured the administration of the National Assembly caucus of their unflinching support, solidarity and collaboration through infrastructure and numerous empowerment to compliments the efforts of the State Government.

  The Federal Government has commended Osun State for being the only state with an ongoing school feeding programme out of the 36 states of the Federation. The Senior Special Assistant to Mr President, Dr Yetunde Adeniji told Governor Adeleke that the commitment of Osun State to the school feeding programme elated all stakeholders, calling it a rare show of love for the growth and development of the young ones.
