It has come to our attention that some unscrupulous, misguided individuals posing as JCC representatives are making a shameless bid for power by staging an illegitimate "satanic press conference." These desperate attempts, fully unauthorized and constitutionally null, are an insult to NANS values. The NANS/JCC Osun Axis Senate has officially suspended these impostors, who remain pariahs within our student community.


Following the legitimate NANS/JCC Osun Axis Convention on October 30, 2024, held at the NUJ Hall in Osogbo, we proudly affirm the election of our true leadership, led by Com. Solomon Ayobami Abel (AY ALUTA) as Chairman for the 2024/2025 session. Other key officials, elected with unanimous support, include Vice Chairman Com. Adegoke Oluwapelumi, General Secretary Com. Adebola Jamiu, and Public Relations Officer Com. Alabi Ibrahim, each elected through a flawless, constitutionally-observed process under full scrutiny of the NANS leadership.


We extend deep gratitude to His Excellency Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke for his unwavering support and for fostering peace for Osun students. The integrity and unity of the Osun student body will not be compromised by pretenders seeking chaos. We urge the Osun State Government and security agencies to immediately address these deceitful impostors, as their actions threaten the very harmony of our institutions.


NANS/JCC Osun Axis remains vigilant and unbreakable, advocating for all students in line with Governor Adeleke's peaceful values and the NANS constitution. We will not allow rogue elements to tear down our unity or disturb the stability we are committed to preserving.

Governor Adeleke Advocates Unity at Opening of South West PDP Secretariat

  Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has urged unity and harmony within the Southwest chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to deepen and widen the electoral fortunes of the party. Senate Deputy Minority Leader, Akogun Lere Oyewumi, Continues Installation of Solar-Powered Street Lights

  In continuation of the initiative and as part of his effort to fulfill the campaign promise of updating basic infrastructure that will bring succor to his constituents, Senator Oyewumi continues the installation of solar-powered street light projects in Ikire. The project is meant to light up dark spots around the communities, increase social and economic activities, and reduce criminal activities in various benefiting areas. The installation of the street light projects continues from Itamerin Junction to Sanngo Roundabout. Senator Lere Oyewumi urged the residents to take ownership of the lights and other government infrastructure to prevent vandalism.
