Ospoly SUG Caretaker Committee Preaches Against Indecent Dressing

The Student Union Government (SUG) Caretaker Committee of Osun State Polytechnic, led by Olaniyi Ajoke Deborah, has launched a campaign to address the growing concerns surrounding indecent dressing on campus. The initiative, which has garnered support from faculty presidents, department heads, and key stakeholders, aims to promote a more respectable and disciplined image for the institution.

While addressing the press, Com. Olaniyi Ajoke Deborah, the SUG Caretaker Chairperson, stressed the importance of maintaining a standard of decency in students’ attire, highlighting that how students present themselves reflects on the institution's reputation. Faculty presidents and department heads echoed her concerns, urging students to adopt more professional and respectful dress codes while on campus.

"Indecent dressing has increasingly become a matter of concern. We are not only representing ourselves but also the values of our beloved institution. It's time to remind ourselves of the need for discipline in our appearance," said Olaniyi.

Key stakeholders present at the meeting expressed their support for the initiative, noting that such a move would contribute to fostering an environment of respect, focus, and academic excellence.
