Osun College of Education Ila, Lifts Ban on Students Unionism/Associations

Osun State College of Ila Orangun has successfully resolved issues between the students and college the community. 


This is contained in a press release issued by the Senior Special Assistant to the Govnor on students matters, Hon. Oladejo Bashiru Aderoju and made available to newsmen in Osogbo.


He stated in the statement that after an extensive engagement with the management and student, an agreement was reached for normalcy and peace to return to the institution.


The statement reads in parts "the crisis, which led to the suspension of the Students' Union Government and other associations, has been carefully addressed


"We are confident that academic and administrative activities has resumed effectively with immediate effect"


"The well-being and safety of our students remains a top priority for the government, I appreciate the cooperation of all parties involved in bringing about this peaceful resolution.


"The management of Osun State College of Education, Ila Orangun, Students leaders and the security agency are highly appreciated and I urge all students to prepare for their upcoming examinations.


"The ban earlier placed on students union activities and other associations is he hereby lifted". He concluded.
