Comrade Aderoju Stands Firm: No Truth to Allegations of Creating Division in Osun Student Community

Urgent Attention: Malicious Rumors and Divisive Actions by Self-Proclaimed Leadership


We write to address and categorically deny the baseless allegations and rumors circulating about Comrade Oladejo Basiru Aderoju, the Special Adviser to the Osun State Governor on Students' Affairs. These malicious claims suggest that Comrade Aderoju is colluding with the All Progressives Congress (APC) to cause division within the Osun State student community.


We unequivocally state that these allegations are false, misleading, and aimed at tarnishing Comrade Aderoju's reputation. The recent Joint Campus Council (JCC) convention, held on October 30, 2024, was attended by representatives from various institutions, including:


- _Osun State Polytechnic, Iree_

- _Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke_

- _Osun State College of Education, Ila-Orangun_

- _Osun State College of Health Technology, Ilesha_

- _Federal Polytechnic, Ede_

- _Federal University of Education, Iwo_

- _Osun State University, Osogbo_


These institutions came together to promote unity, cooperation, and progress within the student community. Comrade Aderoju's involvement in the convention was focused on fostering a harmonious and inclusive environment for all students.


NANS JCC Osun Axis is a gathering of intellectuals, and it's for legitimate and duly registered students, not touts. Our organization is committed to upholding the integrity and unity of the student community.


We urge those spreading these malicious rumors to cease and desist from such divisive actions. We stand in solidarity with Comrade Aderoju and reaffirm our commitment to the well-being and unity of the Osun State student community.

Governor Adeleke Advocates Unity at Opening of South West PDP Secretariat

  Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has urged unity and harmony within the Southwest chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to deepen and widen the electoral fortunes of the party. Senate Deputy Minority Leader, Akogun Lere Oyewumi, Continues Installation of Solar-Powered Street Lights

  In continuation of the initiative and as part of his effort to fulfill the campaign promise of updating basic infrastructure that will bring succor to his constituents, Senator Oyewumi continues the installation of solar-powered street light projects in Ikire. The project is meant to light up dark spots around the communities, increase social and economic activities, and reduce criminal activities in various benefiting areas. The installation of the street light projects continues from Itamerin Junction to Sanngo Roundabout. Senator Lere Oyewumi urged the residents to take ownership of the lights and other government infrastructure to prevent vandalism.
